Leadership

Alex Alexandrov

25 years on the owner’s side of New York City real estate — developer, contractor, and advocate.

Alex Alexandrov has spent 25 years in New York City real estate — from underwriting and structuring affordable housing developments to running construction as a general contractor and, most recently, providing owner’s representation and construction management leadership on complex projects.

He began his career in finance, working as a micro-cap equity research analyst before moving into affordable housing development, where he spent close to a decade serving as project manager, underwriter, and owner’s representative on senior housing developments financed through Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, tax-exempt bond issuances, and layered city and state subsidy programs — working directly with HPD, HDC, NYCHA, HUD, HFA, DHCR, and other public agencies to structure and deliver complex deals.

From there, he moved to the other side of the table, spending 12 years as a commercial general contractor working on NYC-based and national projects across multiple sectors. That decade scaling construction operations — sourcing revenue, staffing projects, strategizing client’s needs and being accountable for its outcomes — is what shapes how Bedrock Reps operates today: an owner’s representative who has actually run the work being represented, not just watched it from a distance.

He founded Bedrock Reps to bring that dual perspective — developer-side financial and regulatory fluency, contractor-side field and delivery experience — to commercial clients, nonprofit institutions, affordable housing owners and individuals. By having sat in every leadership seat at the table, Alex brings a unique perspective and expert project management to client advocacy and real estate execution.
